Convicted in a english court to a 12 months prison sentence

Can anyone help me i was convicted in a english court to a 12 months prison sentence and 3 months licence i have now a week to go before i leave prison, i am returning to my native Scotland to serve my licence. Will this be the same as serving it in England if not,what will the difference be thank-you.
