Restitution Orders: Life Sentence

So anyone who has a large restitution order knows that in Canada that is a life sentence and the government may as well publish it outright.

Mine is 63k attached to 10 months jail time: completed in 2005

But you get out and dont kid yourself you are getting any kind of decent job: nope it will be welfare city.

so you think: ok do the right thing: do the 5 years and wait for a pardon: except you cant get a pardon until you pay the money:
but you cant pay the money without a job: but you cant get the job without the pardon.......catch 22 that will never end.

So the victim: in my case American Express: never gets their money
and I never get back into society.
It used to be after 15 yrs you didnt have to prove you paid it: now the govt took that away: Why:.......there is no hope left now of ever having a semi normal life.
