Law Office Automation is an "old" subject...yet, many law firms have not fully implemented the technologies necessary to automate key functions within the firms. I would like comments and opinions on 1) what steps law firms take before implementing new technologies, 2) who within a law firm is the decisionmaker for such new technologies, and 3) where do these decisionmakers go to find out about emerging and existing technologies?
